Fun Weekend

The Chatterton's definitely had a fun weekend, even if it did start with some hangups for some of us! Poor Carson, daddy let him hang there until mom got the camera and took a picture of what he had done to himself. It's hard to tell from the picture but he got his shirt caught on the lever to lean the seat forward and it was just high enough that his feet aren't quite touching the ground. Luckily he suffered no lasting damage ;) although his shirt did get a little stretched out.










We went up to West Yellowstone for a car show that was really fun. Of the car shows we have been to so far this is the one I would suggest. Enough cars to make it worth it but not so many that it's overwhelming. There were also cars from all over the place there and it wasn't the same cars we see everywhere else.






Then we drove over to Old Faithful. This was Carson's first trip to Yellowstone and he had a lot of fun! He was soooo excited to see water coming out of the ground! When it was just starting (right around the time of this picture) he turned to me and said, "Shhh, shhh, water." In this little whisper. It was so hilarious! He is such a water baby and kept saying water, water not only when Old Faithful was going off but also when we walked around the loop and saw any kind of water. He was so excited which made it so much fun!
























It was definitely something we will try to do again soon, especially as the weather cools off a little so that we can hopefully see some animals :) It was a long day since we had to be back that night so we could be up and chipper for church today but it was well worth it!
