It is definitely the holiday season, my life has officially hit hyper-drive! We had something going every day last week! My little brother, Tracey, and his wife were here from last Tuesday until today. My older sister also had to have surgery today to have a pre-cancerous polyp removed from her colon. Because we weren't sure before the surgery if she would be home by Christmas and since Tracey would be back in California we decided to have Christmas early. So yesterday we went to my parent's sacrament meeting to listen to my dad read the Christmas story as part of the program and then went over to my parent's house. We had way too much yummy food and opened gifts (gifts to and from Tracey & Courtney and Melanie & Cody). It was a little on the crazy side but so much fun. I can already see that Carson is going to be spoiled again this year, so many toys...sigh...it makes me want to get a D.I. box ready to go right now!! Today was a little bit calmer than our days have been, Tracey & Courtney got headed home and Melanie is out of surgery and doing well. Her doctor said that she should be home by Christmas Eve so that's great news! I am so looking forward to Christmas and a little bit of a break (at least from work anyway)!
Since I probably won't have time to post again before Christmas...
